The Art & Design of Ryan Livingston

RML Art Studios

Geometric abstractions, digital experiments, and other things I thought looked neat.

About Ryan (Me)

2026

Most of my work begins without a plan. Whether I'm drawing geometric forms with a ruler and marker or experimenting with layers of digital effects, I rarely start with a message in mind. Instead, I follow shapes, colors, patterns, and happy accidents until something clicks.

The collections found throughout RML Art Studios—Geomajigs, Aetherscapes, ViVortices, Broompunk, and others—are less about explaining the world and more about exploring visual possibilities. They're the result of curiosity, experimentation, and a lifelong fascination with things that simply look interesting.

If there's a common thread running through my work, it's the joy of discovery: finding something unexpected and deciding it's worth keeping.

After 12 years or so of resisting, I'm following the "pros" advice and making a mailing list.

I don't know what I'll use it for, if I'll use it (I hate spam) but it's free to join if you wanna see where this goes... it's via Substack
